• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello Scruffyduck (Jon):

I am waiting for delivery new PC Windows 10. I hope this working install my stuff FS2004 and ADE9 etc.. Anyway, I am asking. How do I get Pro key protected purchased already to transferred old PC to new PC? I don't want to pay again. Are you able to send email me with purchase ID or something certification? I don't know how it processing before I get frustrated installing. LOL

Don't you have a backup copy of your prokey? Dangerous!

You can just make a copy of your ADE directory on your old machine and after you have installed a fresh copy on your new system overwrite the new copy with the backup. That works for me as I have heavily modified ADE with my own commercial textures! Copying all that back and configuring it will be a major pain in the goolies and now I am not even talking about my project folder with years of airport data!

If you are hell bent on starting fresh, then look into your ADE folder on your old system. Find the PLUGINS folder and then copy these two files out: Infralution.Licensing.dll and ProKey.dll. Thst is your key!

Nico, that won't deal with the license key which isn't stored with ADE You are correct that you need to copy those two files to have the ProKey present.
 
It won't work. Prokey is asking me License key number pops up menu box. The two files is still in my new PC folder. I don't know why. Maybe something do with APP Roaming data not there or somewhere else file with .ini or delete .ini file to refresh start maybe? I don't know how. Or best thing is give me key number in my PM or email me. I will PM Scuffyduck with my email.
