MSFS20 Character Creator to 3dsmax

Hi all!

I'm just in the process of adding some final touches to my Sydney Seaplane base scenery, and was wondering if anyone has any experience on how to set up Character Creator for 3dsmax and then to export to MSFS?

Would love to add some animated people to the scenery. I get lost somewhere in between, I've managed to get an animated simple object into MSFS with some variables, however when it comes to people, I do get stuck. I export the fbx into 3dsmax, once i combine the model into one mesh, the rig that it comes with, goes haywire. The model gets distorted etc. I try re skin it but then the model gets even more distorted.

Thanks in advance!

Ok guys so I managed to figure out what the issue was, when importing from CC, after combining all the meshes together in 3dsmax, you need to re skin the model, apply the envelopes and weights then all looks as it should!

Re opening this topic, I've been able to sort out my animations and import into 3dsmax as a single mesh, however when I apply a flight sim material, I get a black texture... all the textures are in the correct format.

Left side is directly after importing into 3dsmax from CC4. Physical Base Material.

Right side is after I apply the MSFS material to it...

Any help will be appreciated.

Ok so I was converting to game base in CC4 which was causing the black texture issue, suspecting its the triangulation.

I've managed to get it looking better but now the clothes have these marks on them, however the texture file looks clean! Not sure whats happening, been at this whole CC4 thing for the last 4 days smh
