• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello!

Glad to present you smallest twin engine aircraft model for FSX (+SE), P3D (v3 and v4) and probably for Outerra in future.
This is Colomban Cri-Cri. In spite of funny view, it is quite serious aircraft - fully aluminium (just nose and wheels covers are composite), plus falling ailerons (same as Airbuses), plus self-rotating stabilizer (same as Boeings lol).

Done in 3dsmax with 50+k polygons (for interior and exterior each) Extremely high resoluted textures - three 4096x4096 diffuse maps for exterior plus several (bit smaller) for interior. Bumps, specular - of course. 3d, ultra smooth gauges, with reflected glass, shadows from needles etc. In spite of all this it have quite good FPS (60+ in PD3)

I hope to release it already in August as payware via Simmarket, Flight1 or something like this.

Do not have own website yet, but FB page for news and feedback - https://www.facebook.com/ATSimulations/ so please like, subscribe, any your questions and advises are welcome! Project still in progress, livery list is still open ;)

Couple screenshots as conclusion for now. Some more on FB page.

Nice little plane (to say the least).
By the way, the correct name of the manufacturer is Colomban (no i), because he is French, not Sout American!

Great looking plane! Well done.

I hope it does very well.

Whats it like to make a plane for Outterra?

Upss, sorry for typo..

Actually it's even easy to convert 3d model and materials are quite same. Most difficulties are about animation programming.
Honestly, OT landscape looks much realistic then FSX to me. However FDX and infrastructure are still poor there.

Both external model and VC look good!
But you might want to make the canopy glass a little bit more transparent ;)

The prototypés livery would be nice!

Just read the AOPA website article on the Cri Cri, apparently fuel is under your legs. Imagine that would help keep one alert!

What an awesome little cute bird. Congratulations on completion ATSim!.

Q: Are you going to bring out other variants of this aircraft? (mini-jet powered and/or floats-version?)

Thank you Ronald!

Floats !? Hmm.. that should be interesting :) I do plan jet version, but nothing about dates right now. At the end of month update is scheduled, with some fixes and some new features provided.
