• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Using ADE 1.65.5479. When ready to compile airport, I always have select More Options first and then select To Specific Folder. Is there a way that once selection made it be saved until I want to change the folder name? Thank You.

Well I am not sure I understand. ADE remembers the folder you want to compile to in the project settings file so there should be no need to change the folder once set. Not sure what is happening if you have to change it each time

I was unaware of the Project Settings. I was only using Tools\Move Airport. Thanks so much for the help.

One last question: I call it a overrun. It can be inserted or placed at the ends of the runway. But I do not see the white painted stripes. Have I chosen the wrong item? Using ADE three days now. Thanks

You could look in the ADE Manual and see what is written in chapter 11.11 "Runway Markings".
There it is described what you have to do in ADE to achieve your purpose in the Flight Simulator.

The manual was written for ADE version 1.55. But on your topic nothing has been changed in ADE.
A new manual for the current ADE version 1.65 will be availabe in a few weeks ;)

Helli

In the ADE Manual it is section 11.13 Blast Pads / Offsets Thresholds / VASI

If you want a overrun with lines you select the blastpad

EDIT-----------

Sorry Helli

I cross posted when you posted.
