FS2004 Control Tower Windows Tranny Problem

Hi friends,

I've been attempting to add transparent windows to my FSDS 3.5 control tower however I have run into problems.

The tower has both outer and inner texture polys and I've created a radar panel for extra effect however when looking through the tower windows from the outside, nothing inside the tower can be seen. All inturnals are invissable including the inturnal inner polly's. I know the inner textures are set correctly.

The next photo shows what I am attempting to acheive however I am unable to fix the problem with two of the windows, dispite cloning efforts and even remaking the windows again.

As you can see, the panels are now showing inside the tower correctly but those two windows have me beat.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, I can forward FSDS and texture file for inspection if that helps to identify the issue.

Mark.

No need to reply, I have sorted it out now.

It was the draw order number in FSDS that was incorrect. The inside needed to be made first and the outside widows constructed and applied last. Models was saved in three parts, inner panel and main building - inner windows - outer windows.

This isn't a reply, but rather, a thanks for the chuckle of the day.... the title made me choke......

Windows Tranny Problem? .... <cough>

considering that whenever I've seen "tranny" it's in relation to "transvestite" ...
