• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.

Having my plane banking left with an unwilling aileron deflection seemed usual as my joystick is a bit old.
So I closed P3Dv3.1 made a calibration and restarted. But the problem persisted so I repeated this a few times. Slowly getting suspicious I tried FSX and other games and the joystick felt well calibrated. Only in P3Dv3.1 the aileron axis is offset to the left.

Does anybody have an idea what is happening here or has anybody encountered this aswell?
This is the first time this happens to me and I have P3D since November.

I recently had a customer email me saying my plane kept banking left. I think it might be a P3D V3.1 issue. I found many issues with this version from customers.

You do have some null zone for the x and y axis right?

Yes I do have null zones. I don't think it has something to do with the planes as this kept appearing in any scenario loaded in P3D but in no other game.
Also no trim issue, I saw the VC yoke always deflected. So there must be something in the program.

small update: The problem is gone now, the computer has been restarted since yesterday.
Seems to be a random occurrence.

Sometimes you just need to unplug the usb for the joystick and re plug it back in. Joysticks go out of alignment after a while i found from time to time.

Doesn't really explain why the joystick worked perfectly in other programs but when going back to P3D it was offset again
