• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Just a heads up, I found a website that has downloadable versions of manuals for just about every aircraft ever made at surprisingly low prices, many of them even in colour. Their customer service is incredible and they respond to every inquiry very quickly. I had an issue where the site still tried to charge me for shipping even though I selected the download product, but ten minutes later after contacting the site I was good to go. Every developer knows how helpful Flight Manuals can be, so I figured I would tell you guys about it.

Here's the link:
http://www.aircraft-reports.com (For Downloads)
http://aircraft-manuals.com (For Physical/Disk Copies)
They are both ran by the same company, but I think the address for physical copies is hosted in North America while the other one is hosted in Europe.

Disclaimer: I am not in anyway affiliated with this company, I had a very good experience with them, so I'm passing a recommendation on

The pricing doesn't seem to be as ridiculous as on other sites.

That's why I felt like sharing it. The manual I got for US $15 has everything down to the angles of the throttle detents.

I will warn that nothing seems to be OCRed, so you might need to OCR it yourself if you want to search for specific sections, which is pretty important on a several hundred/thousand page document.

I wonder if it would be cheaper to build/restore a B17 off of those $20k plans than to buy one already working.
