Corrupted or cannot be found flight file

hello everyone, i just got back to playing my fs2004. i installed it and when i ran the program, a message came up saying " the requested flight file is corrupted or can't be found - - " if anyone knows how to fix this problem, please reply. Thank You.

Create a new flight. Apparently you've deleted the a/c the "last flight" refers to.

ya i understand, but i tried that. when this message came up, underneath all the lettering, came two dashes (- -). so i am thinking that the dashes was a file. i tried clicking the flight in the flight simulator files folder and i also clicked on the fs2004 icon on the desktop, and this message still came up.

Try this:

  • Click away the error
  • Create a new flight on your prefered location with the prefered aircraft
  • Save this flight and make it your default flight for the moment

This should fix your problem the next time you load FS.
