• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello:
Still trying to photo scenery real Machu Picchu area.
Error: Could not start the acquisition of the image...
Hide/Show No joy

"8 files are being downloaded at this moment.
Please repeat bla bla" (When do I know files have been downloaded?)
Do I close that info window?

Well I waited some time then clicked OK and the SBuilder did its thing and I got a blank page with little cameras all over it.

Gerry- Just stumbled on your post here. did you find your answer yet?
If not here's some info.........
msg... "X number of files being downloaded at this moment".

If I am interpreting this right, do you at that moment have two windows open?
Drag the top one over so you can see the one behind better.

In THIS window notice in the bottom left (maybe top left) you see numbers changing very fast. When they are done go and click on OK on the window you dragged earlier.
You will see at the top left number changing very fast again but now in ascending order.

Once completed this window should disappear, leaving the first window.

Now- what I do here is I will 'select all maps' and then just minimized SBX for the time being..... don't have to but I find it easier.

Now I will navigate to SBX\tools\work ( I have made a shortcut so I don't have to go navigating 3 zillion clicks to get there)..... I then choose the bmp and take it to my paint program (mine is Corel PSP)
and make my blend mask.

When done I bring up SBX again and compile... (it was already selected- recall?) Bingo... done.
