• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.

Hello! I see this thread was disscussed previously but I need your help.
I was creating scenery but I've changed 1 value of emission on one of my objects and then CTD.
After that I loaded the game back Tried to build a package and game completely freezes for 1 min and CTD. No errors, no logs, nothing at all.
I've tried to check my drivers for CPU and GPU. Updated them. Rebooted PC. Same Story
I've tried reinstall SDK core. No effect.
Deleted the file from Model lib (Main terminal) was the name). Still crashes every time
I don't want to reinstall the whole game, and I think the problem can be somewhere it the files of scenery. (If needed I'll do it because I've got no choice at that point) But I don't know which one.
Can anyone suggest how to deal with it? I was so close to finish my project and this what happened.....

Can't send the full package it says zip file is too big...

You can upload the package to some external site like Google drive or Dropbox

The first thing to do is to remove the Packages and _packageInt folders, the. Try again with the Build All

(Usually a crash of the compiler is due to bad geometry, so cleaning it should fix the error )

About geometry, I cleaned it with your method, actually... 😅 And I deleted this object from material lib... It still crashing, but "builded" previously package loading into the sim perfectlyo_O

The issue solved!
But lost all SimObjects on scenery. I guess it's the moment when I should make a backsave 😅

FYI - to help nail down the offending component using fspackage tool , you can mouse click on the very small vertical progress bar in the top far right side of the console - this will pause the compiler momentarily allowing you to read the compiler messages - can do this several times just before it breaks.
