• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Crater, Mesa and Thanks

Last night I "revived" my PC after a few days with a dead C disk.....It looks like its humming again.
After reading a bunch of posts here and getting ideas and learning as much as possible I fired up Sbuilder, not very well known to me yet, and moved my plane to a far off lonely island.....
Moved the plane to the blank space, gridded it up, and after reading slowly a post on how to make a lake.....I desided that mine would be a "Crater" so 45 seconds later the bgl was formed, moved to fs2004 and in two more minutes I was flying on top of a wonderful crater!!!!!... I will fix these up to make some "really hard" airfields in my island project....getting into a crater airport is realtively easy...getting out is another story!!!!.....
So, now I went back, moved the plane to another location...Flattened it, cleared all the trees and in a few more minutes a wonderful Mesa had risen!!!!! here I placed a nice grass texture and a landing field.......
I would like to thank this site and the wonderful friends that I have found here....without your great experience, your posts and your friendly advise I would still have an " island full of trees, no crater and never a Mesa airfield"
WOW!!!!  thank you all.........................:) :) :)
