Hi all
I know everyone has faced the Cliff problem when runways are higher up than the surrounding terrain. My question is, how do I go about creating one?
Here is what I need and have done so far:
I would like to have a cliff effect on an approach to my runway, to show where the grass overrun area is. Within this area is also a Localiser object, and a fence at the end. Beyond is a road, which is needed to be at the base of the "cliff", with the cliff being only about 5m or so below the runway. I've tried to do this with a flatten polygon, but whether I make it with KML or SBuilderX, instead of having a nice flat drop, I get one that zig-zags across the polygon edge. I've even tried to add a grass apron at the end of the runway to get the effect, but the "Show Surface" option doesn't work, so the grass shows up.
Any help with this is appreciated.
