So this is a unique case I suppose....
I am working on KPSO (Pagosa Springs, CO) as my first airport for FS2020 as it's small enough for me to start figuring out the new sim. Anyway the default airport when you spawn in at KPSO has 2 windsocks next to Runway 19 next to each other and the runway I believe is doubled up also. This is because the airport ICAO changed over the years from 2V1 to KPSO. In the simulator database both ICAO codes exist. So there are 2 airports here at the same location. I attempted during the Alpha/Beta to get Asobo to fix this with the double windsocks and also some flattening issues but it didn't happen.
I have gone in and added a Runway, Blastpads, Airport, and Exclude Polygons to the airport KPSO. I have all of the checkboxes to delete the default airport checked. I also did some terraforming on the runway to correct the elevation as the airport was about 250 feet to high. When I build the package and move it to the community folder and load the sim at the airport I see double windsocks still as well as a runway underneath the runway that I put down (it's wider and a different color so it's visible). I am assuming that the airport 2V1 is causing the double windsock issues. So, I created a separate package for 2V1 that just has an airport placed with all the checkboxes deleted. I have tried to build that package but it won't build for some reason and it's saying access denied for the folder I'm trying to build in.
Do you think I am correct in that I need to override the 2V1 airport and delete ALL and maybe that will get the double windsocks and runway to go away? Do I need to do that as a separate package? I also tried earlier adding a second airport to my main project to delete 2V1 and it let me add it however when I continued to try and add taxiways and other airport features it would add them to the 2V1 ICAO Airport instead of the KPSO. So I think it probably does need to be a separate package? Hopefully this makes sense. Do I need a second exclude polygon? I don't think I do because the first one is excluding the default buildings as it's supposed to. I just have the double windsocks and runway...
