• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX Default jetways

Here are my "Exits" for the 2 models of A380 i use:

[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 = 0.4, -33.30, -11.0, 8.0, 0
exit.1 = 0.4, -166.0, 8.0, -5.5, 1

[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 =0.4, 60.3, -8.0, 8.0, 0
exit.1 =0.4, -66.0, 8.0, -5.5, 1

Try these one at a time, as you can see there are 2 different settings for different models, as Tom also mentioned,
if one of them is close to your model where it does not quite align with the door you can change these settings to suit your model,
Tom has shown above what to part to change in the longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions

For the DJC_A319_IAE:
[exits]
number_of_exits =2
exit.0 = 0.4, 38.39, -6.26, 4.34, 0
exit.1 = 0.4, -12.75, 2.84, -1.69, 1

Here is the A330 and A320, many of my settings need tweaking
but as long as they are somewhere near the door thats good enough for me

this will depend on the aircraft, this is the default 738:
[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 = 0.4, 36.6, -5.0, 3.0, 0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.1 = 0.4, -38.5, 4.5, -3.0, 1 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.2 = 0.4, 33.5, 3.5, -4.0, 2 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)

This is the" WoA_EVAI_A320-200_CFM":
[exits]
number_of_exits = 3
exit.0 = 0.4, 40.50, -6.0, 7.0, 0
exit.1 = 0.4, -14.50, 5.25, -1.5, 1
exit.2 = 0.4, 29.90, 6.0, 1.0, 2

They will vary with different model of aircraft (mainly jets), even different modellers of the same type of aircraft can vary
Ray, I am late to this party but maybe you can point me in the right direction. I have a number of AI aircraft that I have carried over from P3Dv2, 3, 4 and into P3Dv5 (and associated flight plans) and all has been fine with jetways added via ADE until I moved to P3Dv5.3 with all Hot Fixes. Now when the jetway "retracts" it backs off the airplane, then retracts some then the entire jetway continues in a circular motion back into the building to which it is attached. Does this sound like what you have described herein relative to the "exits" in the config file for the AI aircraft?
Any insight / pointers are great appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
