I'm creating some AI boat traffic in FSX Acceleration. I've found some boats show up, others don't.
When I use the exact same routes and everything else, but just change the name of the MDL file I find that the default Carrier, Cruiser and Destroyer show up fine. But when I substitute the USCG Cutter (Veh_USCG_Cutter) it never shows up! So far I've also been unable to see VEH_water_yacht_280ft. Does the same thing happen to other people? Has anyone got the default coastguard cutter to show up as AI? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Does the MDL name always have to be used, or can the GUID be substituted? For instance, can it be:
Veh_USCG_Cutter
or
5B1BD345-0EC1-45A4-AF37-9B9443F1EA65
or
{5B1BD345-0EC1-45A4-AF37-9B9443F1EA65}
