Hi Folks,
I thought I would mention something to remember when creating effect controllers using FXE.
I wasted a half a day scratching my head before it dawned on me! Say I have created a controller in the FSX Effects folder that references a default effect. Everything is fine. Say I then create new effect, or re-name an existing effect, again in the FSX Effects folder, reference that file in the controller and find that the controller does not work.
It *finally* dawned on me that I had set FXE to use P3D v2 as the preferred sim, so FXE was looking in the P3D v2 Effects file for the effect, not where it actually was. Hopefully none of you would do such a silly thing.
Larry
