• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello all

Will someone tell me a pouurait What does this error message during compilation of a model?

fatal error A1012: error count Exceeds 100; Stopping assembly
DRAW_TRI_BEGIN (2): Macro Called From

Thank you to those who can help

Frenchy

Hi,

Is this the entire error? The first part indicates there are over 100 errors. The second part does not seem complete. It could indicate to much triangles with the same material.

Hey Frenchy,

If you are doing the unlimited export/vertice work around, when you compile the second time, make sure all of your warnings options are ticked off, so that no warnings are produced. (Ignore, all three).

You should also be able to set up your MakeMDL config file to auto-set this.

I think all models have errors, tons of them, some are too difficult to see, and clicking ignore allows you to get past them.

Frenchy,

Hows it going on your project, exporting? Ive been waiting to hear some success reports.

Hello Bill

I would like to tell you that it works but not because it will not work all the more ironic in ca c is that I have managed to expoter my model version with the same car and room set aside the canopy There is no way to export my there is always two-seater model to report errors with the same thing during my first message except that sometimes it changes is not understood before my two-seater model worked when compiling it makes me sort of errors that were not before. I've wanted to do what you have m indiquersuitre my message was just ignorant with FSDS 3 compilation by running the AC configures makemdl as it was before I c is what to do buggery limit of lead in each case whether on this post or the other with my VC nothing works and it starts to inflate me very strongly, I have paid 2 software with which I can not do what I want.

Frenchy,

This is massively possible. You are probably just making so small of a mistake somewhere. I was. I still make subtle mistakes, like a mis-typing of a word in the ASM file, etc, and when I correct that, it works.

I would not get mad. Take a deep breath. Take a break. Relax. Try it all over again, step by step. I am sure you are missing one or two small details.

Our panels and planes export fine. They export with all parts working. This system does work. You are just doing some little 'something' wrong.

Have some faith Frenchy. You'll have it working. You just have to figure out what is not right in the export process.

Hi
unzip the attached file and Drop the makemdl.cfg file into the folder you have makemdl.exe in.
also rename or delete MakeMdlAircraftParms.txt in the fsds3.5 main folder
see if it compiles.....assuming your still having issues with errors

Hello Bill and Au_Mav

So although I j unzip the file into fsds3.5 j gets a message that tells me when I compile my model contains about 83,000 vertices and asks me if I want if I put yes and nothing happens if I put it no m makemdl opens and when I did start it just tells me the file. x is invalid, so now I'm in has to wonder what's the point of going on a 2-year project.

Hi
Yep thats a bug, just answer no (the dialog's box yes no is reversed)
when makemdl opens up make sure all the models are listed in the LOD tab...As your getting the 83,000 verts warning is probably to large a project for fs9 (I cant remember the limits in fs9)
if so you will have to get Bill to walk you through the LOD hack as Ive never done it :)

Hello
Here is some good news regarding my plane J have managed to build version 2 of the 3 existing ones, the 3 rd version remains the same tandem that it shows the following error m

_temp_1.asm (65534): error A2071: initializer magnitude too large for size spécifié
DRAW_TRI_BEGIN (2): Macro Called From

So what to do with it is not possible to force a compile knowing that in addition to the 2 versions that I have compiled almost identical to its two-seat version?

Hello Frenchy,

When you do a regular compile the old way, does 'that' model compile?

Make sure you have all three 'Ignore warnings' ticked to be 'off' (do not show) in the MakeMDL compiler config file.

Have you tried 'stopping' the compiler right after it creates the last 'ASM' file? I have to stop mine or it has failures and erases all the ASM files for some reason. If I stop my compiler right after it makes the last ASM file and starts a new set of files called $$$ and AZM, then I turn it off and I have all my proper ASM files done, then I redo the ASM and drop that into the BGLC-9.exe program.

Hello all

Well there is my problem of coimpilation rule is I still do not know because of what it was the only thing I have to change c is the window of the canopy was full that day I removed the lining and it works now.

Hey Frenchy,

Man, I hope you arent deleting parts so that your plane will export. You can get around that now. You can export giant models with this new system we are using. You can put in all the parts you want and using this system, create HUGE amounts of polygons and export fine.

Please dont tell me you are doing that. Dont delete. Figure the system out..... Please.
