I apologize for the double post; this isn't getting much attention on the scenery thread where I found the original, and my question is pertinent to aircraft modeling in any case. On that note, the original topic is over two years old.
I ran an experiment earlier for giggles and knowledge sake. All I did was create a primitive sphere, and export. The error manifested itself as stated in the title. I applied no transforms or animations to the bugger.
My apologies for the inconvenience; thank you for your time.
How fortuitous that I would search this topic out, as I'm having the exact same problem, with an added twist.
Exporting from 3dsMax 9 w/Pandasoft DX 9.0 plugin, compiling through makemdl to release to FS2004.
I too am receiving the "ERROR: found scale animation (FUSELAGE.)"
However, when I enter the hierchy, slap reset a few times, this error persists even after no further changes to the model. If I remove the fuselage, the error continues with the next sequential part in the model. It will continue this for every object. (Restating: Regardless how many times I slap the "reset" button.)
At the end of my rope with the modeling scene.
