Excluding FSX-Autogen trees...

Hi

I made myself a nice small apron at a couple of airports, but the trees grows up through the concrete...

I made an ExcludeRectangle with the SDE, but that didn't seem to remove the trees.....

Any better way to to it?

Btw. FXplanner, ADE and SDE is three wonderful programs to use in conjunction.... I always use the latest version, and I must say that improvements grows quick on all. Pretty good job all.....

Did any of you consider showing the angle/distance between two points drawn? That would be a nice utility especially while drawing aprons, fences, taxiways etc.

Thank you in advance.

Well, the best way is to try it for yourself obviously....

SbuilderX did the trick:

Slewing around to each corner of the apron while connected in Sbuilder to define the polygon, and then set the properties to Airport_Backgrounds_ExcludeAutogen ..and voila all the trees vanished.

Case closed.

Yes Dan, using the mesh "polygons" to create the exclude is indeed the best choice. And SBuilderX is a nice tool to draw them.
