FS2004 Exclusion rectangle not removing autogen trees

Using it at some VOZ airports that have trees on the taxiway, aprons etc. Adding a exclusion rectangle with 'all' ticked doesn't work. Tree's remain. Does anyone have any other options I could try?

I have VOZ about a 1/3 of the way down in my addon scenery. Its only at certain airports where this happens.

Strangely, I just swapped some textures with another set and a airport that never had any now is covered in trees on the aprons and taxiways etc.
I swapped back to the original textures and nothing changed. Trees everywhere. I cant figure it out.

A whole separate issue however to the ADE issue.

2 things you could try..
Firstly put the scenery at the top of the priority list, the problem should go away
If you are using other global addons, I would reccomend creating an additional _LC scenery folder, in there you would just have all files for terrain, autogen and mesh, this would sit one below your main scenery and will help blend your scenery with surrounding terrain - you could then use something like SBuilder to draw a poly, set it as airport ground which also acts as another exclusion... been 10+ years for me since FS9 dev, so bare with me

1st option of putting it at the top made no difference.

I'd have to get up to speed a little with sbuilder on how to do that.

Ok, I will give you a quick run down -
Launch SBuilder, create project and locate your area of interest
Select the "Polygon" tool, you will find it at the top which looks like a yellow card labelled "Polygon Tool", simply click that, then click on the map specifying your area to exclude autogen.. or flatten..bare with...
Once you have drawn the poly, right click to close it, then back at the top simply click the button that looks like a mouse arrow, select the poly you drawn, right click and select "Properties"
From there, I dialogue will open where you can chose which Landclass it will be, scroll to the bottom and select "AB_Flatten_ExcludeAutoGen"
With the poly still selected which should now be green, press the "Compile" button which is again at the top on the far right, which has an arrow in a green box.. be sure to remove any flattens in your current scenery, then move your newly created BGL to your scenery, or as mentioned earlier, one layer below your main scenery and you can just call this "WhateverYouWant_LC"..the "_LC" is not required, but it's an obvious and clear flag to denote that it is managing landclass.

If it don't work with "AB_Flatten_ExcludeAutoGen", try another which don't autogenerate trees such as LC_Rock or something, provided you have satellite imagery to cover it

Just to add, if you go this route, you can create your _LC scenery structure like so

Whatever_LC
--------"scenery" (Drop your flatten/exclude BGL file here) - no need for a texture folder
