• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Exterior Modeler

Hello again guys, I do not mean to seem desperate by posting here again. But it has been a struggle to find a good exterior modeler that would be able to help out with a "secret" project we are going to be starting at Contrail Simulations. We are currently re-designing our website to transition from a commercial texturing service, to a commercial developer for flight simulator. We currently have a team, consisting of some well-known members to the flight sim community, Myself (I have been around in the community since early 2007 doing textures and modeling since around 4 years ago), Maurino Brown (Been in the fs community for a significant amount of time now, has worked with dreamwings, project opensky, and currently is at SkySpirit2012 along with myself), And Eric Marciano (which some of you may know he coded the systems for the Wilco Airbus series). To add to that, we are in contact with multiple pilots that have either piloted the aircraft in the past, or are currently flying it and are providing information to help aid in the design process. On top of that we have done a vast amount of research on all the systems of the aircraft, so we can simulate them as close to the real thing as possible, we are also going to be purchasing maintenance manuals and flight crew operation manuals. The only this that is holding this project back is an exterior modeler, we have been in contact with many modelers in the flight sim community, some from these forums, but most are too busy with other projects to help out with this project. Now I just want to mention we are in no hurry to finish this project, because we want to make it as accurate as possible, and would rather spend more time on it and do it right, than just to rush through it. This position will be a commission based position, all the developers involved in the project will get a percentage from every sale made, and will be signing a general contract outlining these details further. If anyone is interested in this position or wants to help out, please contact me either on here or at requests@contrailsimulations.com. We would really like to get moving on this project as soon as possible, this is the only thing we are waiting on, we don't want to publicly announce on here what aircraft this will be just yet, but if you want to learn further details about this project please do contact me at the address stated above. Thanks a lot guys, and thanks for taking the time to read this!
