• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

There haven't been any updates for a year. Stop bumping this thread.

Seems like another project that was started but never finished. Pity since it did look good and I would certainly have bought it.

Just some thought. Is it possible to sell unfinished project to other developers?
It is pity to see good project vanish.

I think the first step it to determine if you can establish contact with the original developer. From there it is pretty much up to you, IMHO.

Probably safe to say there really isn't an established market for unfinished work but you could find some reasonable valuation methods.

Don't get me wrong, Ripcord. I don't want to buy it but I would like to point out to the developers who don't want to finish their task.
However, your point about the market of unfinished work is not a bad idea at all. There should be a room for this.

I was asked to do other airports in the past. Correct their problems and finish the work and publish them. Quite frankly, I hated these works.
You need to see where all the files and where the textures they are related. You need to search for faulty works and correct them. It is like double work than making your own project at first. I don't mean this scenery is faulty but my work in the past was.

I understand Tic.

I think most developers would prefer to do their own ground poly, autogen, etc, but there might well be some very good quality 3d models. And those DO have a value than can be calculated.
