    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.

FSX "file too small" error message

Hi,

Can anyone please help with a problem loading a.dae file made with sketchup?

The error reads “Error importing the file: File is too small” and will not load. The file size is 26MB

Apart from the obvious and the file is indeed too small (I have tried various file sizes and all report same error) is there anything else that will cause this.

I am running Version 1.4.0.0 of MCX

Windows XP SP3

Direct X 9c

Regards

DGB

Hi,

I would assume that the file is actually too large. 26MB is way to big for an FS object.

You might get more help if you posted this at the ModelConverterX forum?
