• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Flight Simulator Thunderbirds looking for some gauge help

Hey everyone my name is Lite-Brite, I am the flight lead of the Flight Simulator Thunderbirds and we are in some need of assistance when it comes to basic gauge creation. We have a few very simple things we need done with very specific intentions in mind. We cannot pay you, we are just looking for some friendly help.

These will be 2, 2d gauges.

1: A stopwatch gauge capable of starting, stopping and resetting, here is the tricky part, at least for us, getting it to be able to (record the times every time it has been hit. (We have certain timeframes we need to meet in between maneuvers) It would be really nice at the end of the practice for it to save our data to know how consistent our flight has been. (I am just hoping, not even sure logging something is a possible feature)

So at the end of practice, it would have a log, that would say, (from stopwatch hack times aka start - stop amount of time) The log feature is not required it would just be nice and really helpful to our team.

Maneuver Name |Duration from first start time to stop time
Maneuver Name |Duration from first start time to stop time
Maneuver Name |Duration from first start time to stop time

2: A G limiter. The F-16 is restricted to 9 G's and -3 G's we would like to be able to have a G-limiter to put in as a simple turn off and on kind of thing. Not neccesarily in the VC but as a 2d gauge.

I am willing to learn how to do this, and if people are willing to spend the time to teach I would be all for it, but as of right now, these things are very complex for myself, and my team. If you are willing to help out feel free to contact us at our website

Thank you, and we hope to hear from you soon!
