Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if i can automatically flip all textures vertically in batch process --> Convert textures tool !!
If that's not possible, is there any other way with MCX ?

Thanks...

Hi,

No, at the moment that is not possible. But it might be a good idea to add such an attribute to the convert textures operator (it would not be a global checkbox like you drew it).

There is. You can glitch the Batch Converter by changing the loader to flip .DDS textures in the Options.

The default is false, so if it is set to true, the model won't load properly and you can batch out all the textures in that configuration. It won't work if you just tick the box and leave the Options pane open. I closed MCX and restarted after switching options to make it work.

I do more or less the same thing with Photoshop where I do all editing anyway, I do not flip .DDS on import, so when I save to .PNG it is already properly aligned.

Thanks Rick, I forgot I had added that option to the DDS writer. So with thst option it can be done indeed.
