• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

Since Accel or Sp2 now we cannot fly smooth in formation for example the planes when close to each others just jiggle too much, the original first FSX wasn't like this beside the horrible connectivity ...

Is there a setting that smooth out this problem ?
FSX now act the same way than FSHOST style the planes just jiggles way too much.

I really hope to have an answer it's quite quiet here :(

Hi,

I guess it was more a warning that you might not get so much response on this question. Most developers tend to fly not so much (especially in formation).

I am not aware of any setting to improve the performance in multiplayer flights. I think that mainly depends on network connections, etc.
 
Arno I completely understand and this is why when i get a product and regarding the FM and basics aircraft i have to correct 99 % of aircraft on the market for my own purpose. I think that a developer must fly and understand what is real and virtual aviation as well as all effects and the use of it's own product. Or maybe they just go for the money and it is sad.
From Microsoft it self something like the F18 which is ridiculously wrong to something like Realair that is of a much much better quality on how the plane reacts.
So the development start of a good support than on the same time something creative. If the dev's can't support well,... how their products will be.. ?

I give you a some tiny examples Almost all rudder movement of FSX are not good enough, elevator trim are connected to elevator pitch in many planes that result of a to much "G" forces or a 360 degree loop on a 747 like if it was a xtra 300.. well I better stop there but the list is long.
So Arno imo the dev should really understand hardware as well and support those problems and try to all together work out some good work for this sim.

Now regarding net code under fsx well everyone knows that .. it is not good enough so what is it possible to do to make it better.. Well sure it's good to connect some xtra gauges to a third monitor screen but the basic of just flying together is wacked.. Now some will give you the fix that to make your frame rate fixed to something like 20 fps than it smooth out.. but seriously this is so wrong.. this days many get a real high frame rate with their machine and asking them to have a fixed 20 fps is insulting..

Voila .. some thoughts
