• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi all Im flying an Ultr Lite in free flight fm Oak Harbor WA to Vancouver BC and will final at Amatignak Alaska and am currently sitting on Goose Island BC with abt 50% fuel which is just enuff to make it to the airport on the norther part of the island. My question is my next treck is along way's off over the Pacific ocean and I was wondering is there anyway to go into a config file on FSX and enlarge the fuel capacity in my ultra lite and possibly increase it's speed?

I really am enjoying the flight especialy the flight to Goose Island I saw the sun set and the starts were spectacular.

Anyway if anyone has any ideas I'd certainly appreciate it tnx Dan

Favorite flights?

Hi all, I'm just curiouse what are everyones favorite flights and with which aircraft?

My favorite airplane with FSX is the Ultra Lite. I've flown thru yellowstone which was pretty cool. And am currently on a free flight fm Oak Harbor, WA with stop offs in Vancouver BC, Campbell river BC. I am currently sitting on Goose Island BC then will island hop till I finally reach Amatignak Alaska which is the western most island in the Aluetia's chain.

It's been a very beautiful flight thus far lots of rivers, mountains and islands. After I get to my destination I may fly into Syberia or start a treck towards the North Pole.

Anyway I'd be interested to hear where everyone els likes to fly to. Dan

Hi Dan,

this question doesn't seem to have anything to do with mission building. ;)

I have merged both threads. If you just want to chat about fsx-stuff you may want to check the big forums like avsim, cause you won't find anybody here who actually flies. :D It's just developers here. ;)

Anyway, you can edit that stuff in the aircraft.cfg in the simobjects/ultralight-folder. You can set everything there: how much fuel the engine burns, how much fuel you can load (but that will add more weight of course!),...

You can also set the "realism settings" in dfsx to "unlimited fuel".

No harm done. It'd just be a bit boring here with all those developers who don't actually know how to fly an aircraft. :D
