• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX 3D Building, Builder wanted!

Hi im Troy Chapman and im using FSX-Planner to edit taxiways etc for NZCH(Christchurch intl' airport). At an Area of the airport there is two buildings which are where they are meant to be, but the building that are there are no way near wat they are like in real life so.....

I want a good 3D designer/Builder for FSX to make the canterbury aero club building's for FSX's NZCH airport, because i cannot make buildings etc for FSX, i also want that person to delete the old building and replace them with the new ones to go with my scenery. When i complete the scenery they will get credit with the final scenery too.

Do you have any images of what these buildings are supposed to look like? If it's not something too complicated, I might give it a go... :)
 
I Have got one of the NZCH sceneries for FSX, but its was a runway/taxiway scenery not buildings etc, where are the sceneries you have found and i'll see wat they are like.


Well with the image of the buildings i havent got any myself, there is a google earth image which isnt very helpful, and i've searched the google 'image' thingy but nothing of the main building really came up.

Te main building isnt that complex, i am looking for a photo, if you want to look for one yourself you could search 'Canterbury aero club building' or try 'christchurhci nternational aiport' and with the christchurch intl' there might be the canterbury aeroclub building in the background(it's bright yellow and im pretty sure it has 'Canterbury Aero Club' written on the front.

sorry im not very helpful(i live in christchurch tho) but people dont seem to put pictures of the aero club on the internet.

This is the canterbury aeroclub, im srry the photo isnt too good but it's all i could find just now :D .

The canterbury aero club is the building that says 'Canterbury Aero Club' and its also the yellow building connected to it.

p.s im going to keep looking for more photos.

Here's another photo... The yellow buidlings are the canterbury aero club building, and the building with 'canterbury aero club' written on it is a hanger, the other building is kinda their ground school/admin building i think.

i put the other picture from before in again because i dont think it worked B4.

if you go to: www.jetphotos.net and search NZCH airport u find photo's with the aero-club in the background.

if the photo's arent here i dont no why it isnt working, but go to the site above for some photo's, there the only photos ive got for now, im going to try and work something out.

From memory there is the full Canterbury package, or just the standalone NZCH. I suspect you may just want the airport.
 
i started to download the full canterbury scenery... ive got broadband but its slow so i am also just downloading the airport scenery too.

Can some smart scenery person download the NZCH airport scenery from the link giving(not by me) above and tell me if its possible to seperate the canterbury aero club buildings which are on the opposite side of the runway to the main terminal, so that i can place them myself in FSX seperately to go with some scenery i am creating.

Did you ask for help at their website? I'm sure the author would be able to give you a yes or no.
