• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX AI Ship Traffic

I have the following flightplans.txt and have compiled it for FSX into a bgl. The ship shows up OK but does not move. The Traffic Explorer shows it at sleep and at the appropriate time it changes to push but never switches from push and never moves.

I have my boat traffic set higher than 20%.

Can anyone help me to get it moving please?

try inverting the timing I mean this: 24Hr,VFR,00:30:59,00:45:,000,R,0212,PHMR,17:30:59,17:45:59,000,R,0213,PHMR
Anyway observing the Schedule don't know what are those parameters, PHME, R,0212,0213, ??¡,sorry though I am not a ai traffic guru, It should be reverse, ferry and normal, ferry.
 
I am not a guru to and I never use some of your paramaters (VFR, PHMR...). Do you try to set an air traffic BGL to a ship?
 
If you are using AI flightplans, the ship needs to have wheels and travel along a hard taxiway.

Why don't you use boat traffic with AIBTC?

Check out the page. You may have the departure time and arrival time to close 15 minutes?? This is some sort of ferry service - to from the same location?

Also remember my livingworld program you used many moons ago? Check out the VRS forum. They are using it to get boat/ship traffic. ground vehicles and aircraft to fly routes given in the cfg file.
