I have multiple planes that were made for runway markings. The planes have the textures applied as UVW mapped, and scaled/positioned within the scene. Everything looks good in FSX.
For performance reasons, I would like to have ALL the runway marking texures on multiple texture sheets using the UVW Unwrap.
The problem I'm having is that when I select all the planes to be mapped, I only get one poly that is showing in the UVW unwrap editor, after assigning all the planes with a material ID. I understand the Box and Plane object types have there own material id's selected. So my question is how do you do this? Is it to late since I already assinged the planes with UVW mapping? Can this be done?
Thanks
