• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Gents:
RAZBAM is looking for a FSX mission developer, if there is anyone interested, please PM me for details

Best regards
Prowler

Why don't you give a little more details, then developers would know if they're interested.
Just an idea. ;)

Hey Horst:
Sure, silly me...:D
RAZBAM is a Flight Simulator payware company (www.razbam.org) i´m looking for someone to be part of our staff (perm) to create missions/campaigns for coming addons and as an addon itself(campaign). You get a payment for missions being part of an addon and royalties(sales%) of mission packages sold as stand alone packages.
For more detail, pm me here.
Best regards

So do you provide the story, audio's, models etc, and you are only looking for a developer?

Or do you want the developer to create everything?

I think I will withdraw my offer on this, not getting a response to messages is a little worrying for me.

Hi Nudge,

I am surprised someone didn't message you, but I wouldn't be worried about it. For me, this is a fun hobby to make missions. If I take on a project, it becomes work... and I have a day job that keeps me busy with work :) Keep trying, you may find the right person who is interested. It would be good to see more missions, both payware and shareware.

Gunner

Hey Gunner,

I expected some sort of response, I took the time out to respond, next time I'll wear a tux :p

I was never interested in it as a money maker, lets face it, missions are not a big seller, maybe thats because most focus on GA and heli.

I like to build missions, but the ones I do, use payware scenery and are usually designed for local schools here to give to students and clubs, so 99% are based around YHBA, YBUD, YMBU, YBBN etc and are focused on failures, weather etc, real life things, they also heavily rely on SimConnect.

I was looking to do something a little different, as apposed to making money from it.

Ah, ok, misunderstanding. Gunner and me thought it was the original poster that withdrew his offer, but you actually did PM Prowler and didn't receive an answer. Well, that is indeed a bit weird. I was talking to him about this matter too, and he went silent for some reasons.

Well, let's just forget about it. :)

Your mission creation sounds interesting, Nudge. Do those schools use flightsim for teaching?

It's more to help the student or pilot go through a routine in their mind, a rehearsal so to speak, rather than training them to cope emotionally with an event.

Disclaimers everywhere, one at the start and one at the end, with both requiring a keypress to acknowledge they understand :)

The schools don't promote it as training.

The selling point is having their aircraft paints and callsigns, rather than stock standard.

Believe it or not, but our Military was using it (FSX) at the last Bundaberg Airshow :scratchch

You mean they did the airshow in fsx and not in reality?

Just kidding. :p ;)

LOL

That would be a sight, not sure how it would hit the FPS though.

I should have asked why they were using it, but the crowd around it was huge. I'd say it was just to get them to taste what it was like to fly a fighter.
