• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Parse complete!

Can't copy BGL file into the destination folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\BGL Compiler SDK\Christchurch Intl NZCH.BGL (The system cannot find the file specified)

Thanks

With FSXPlanner when i place the Hold-Short nodes i've got the 'type' set to 'Hold_Short' and the 'Orientation' set to 'Reverse', but i cant see the hold short lines on the taxiway. what can i do for the taxiway hold-short lines to appear?

Chappy

I'm gonig to assume that the hold short has at least two taxiway paths connected to it. The hold short lines sometimes don't draw right away. You might need to flip the orientation from reverse to forward to view them for this node.

okay thanks i tried it and it worked. how do i get the scenerya working with the compile error i posted above?i tried changing the ILS system but it still doesnt work.

I tryed the hold short point the way with two taxiway points going to it and ive played around but it isnt drawing it on the taxiway, will it be there anyway or am i doing something wrong?

That's odd that the hold short lines aren't being drawn on the taxiway. Try moving the taxiway node just slightly to make the image redraw and see if it appears then. Also, the type of node is actually a hold short node, and not another type, like a hold short no draw or something correct?

Huh, i just looked at the aiport im doing and at the hold short point that wasnt drawn in but now it is there, that kool i supose. where can i get help for why the scenery wont compile to a BGL file? because no-one seems to be able to answer why the error (i posted earlier) is showing up and how to prevent it showing, so that it will compile to BGL.

Chappy
