• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA FSXA/P3D: 5S0 Oakridge State

Any chance you'll be able to write-up a tutorial on how you accomplished all of this? I'm sure some of the seasoned vets here know how and what you did to get those ground polys to look so awesome, but the neophytes such as myself would love to "take a lesson" from someone with an obvious mastery! :)

Agreed!!

LOVE the pics Grandsurf!! Looking forward to more.

Will it be free- or payware?

By the way: This looks absolutely awesome!

very stunning... :D

love your textures, so you use 2048 for runway textures too?

I use a mix of 1024pix and some 2048pix textures on the poly.

If this is going to be freeware, you're probably the best freeware product in 2012 ;)

Probably? This will no doubt be the best freeware product...I'd go as far as saying the single best scenery ever made for FSX, freeware OR payware. :D

After careful consideration i will switch now with my previous work here from fictitious airfield to the creation of a real destination. The most created things i will continue to use without problems with adjustments.

Where we going? :)

Some detail pictures from the airport i was able to find. Do someone know any other sources for detail photographic material to the airport? That would help me a lot.

Many Thanks...

I'm guessing you mean actual ground photos but figured I'd point you towards Bing's aerial images in case you weren't aware of them. They do provide a good amount of detail. They give me a lot of inspiration and ideas when placing smaller objects - both the type of object and the location

I have saved that video some time ago ;).

And thanks for the cool pics, that gives me some ideas again :).
