• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello,
I was messing around on my PC, and I decided to enhace my Photoreal Addon Scenery, starting with my home country: French Guyana.
Its was made in a few minutes with ScenProc only (Thx Arno for your help btw)
I would need help to improve it under the 2017 base such as Night lightings for those who use FTX Global :)

Its slowly getting there :)
BTW, how can I make the airport buildings? (for those who got the Default SOCA scenery)

First in-sim test :)
Done:
-Real parking position for Commercial and GA
-Added 2 Heavy Parking (Yes, GSX will work with your Air Caraibes A330 and AirFrance 777-200ER or A340 (or what ever you want haha))
-Repositioned apron
-Repositioned buildings
-Repositioned Taxiways

To Do:
-Military Apron and Parkings
-Replace GSX Handling Company (Air France and Air Caraibes) if its possible
-Configure the GSX parking places (There is a Jet-Way in real)
-Maybe replace the Terminal to a bigger building
-Apron and Taxiways Edge lights
-Maybe something else, Idk what yet haha

As I plan a complete Cayenne Airport scenery later, I will not do specific buildings, but for people using FSGuyane Cayenne, it should be good

Hello,
I need some help:
1) I want to know to to make 3D lightStreets for FTX Users
2) on GSX, I had succes with making the Handling by Air France, but I'd like to know how to select the Catering service (Cayenne uses Servair)

For now, thats all ;)

Regards,
Marc L

Is this scenery also going to adjust the trees? I can't help but notice some of them sprawling over the roads and into buildings.

But still, it looks good so far!

Thank you very much :)

At the base, its only a photoreal scenery by France VFR, all I do is Autogen ;) (to be honnest, the scenery is finished (well, for what I wanted it to be) but as there are nights flights, I wanted to see if someone could help me with FTXG StreetLights as Paulo Ricardo or Overflow did for theirs sceneries :)

Autogen looks really good, is Scenproc difficult to use?

There's a tweak in the autogen documentation that might help give more accurate tree placement:

[TERRAIN]
IMAGE_PIXELS_FOR_AUTOGEN_POLYGONS=16

The value of this setting is set at the minimum, 16, and can be any value up to 2048. The higher the number the more accurately a curved polygon will be rasterized. The value 16 indicates a rasterization of approximately 80 meters down to approximately 0.5 meter accuracy for the 2048 setting. There is a performance penalty with the time it takes to rasterize a region, and the memory required for the resulting sampling bitmap.

Maybe add a 3rd plane so it doesn't only look like a cross from above.
Also I'm curious how it turns out regarding performance when a lot of sketchup meshes are put all over the scene :duck:
