FSX GMAX Ground Poly's Changing Position

Hi folks,

First post in quite some time.

Have been plodding away on my current project, but over the past week have encountered a problem I've not been able to resolve.

Using the 2002 Gamepack for the ground polys; never had an issue until now. I've been re-exporting each layer after making several changes; one layer in particular is causing a headache. Around the outside of my aprons, taxiways and runways I have a 'blending' layer. The aim of the blending layer is to smooth the transition from the concrete to grass.

Last week, I exported the layer as normal with the same positional data (co-ords and heading) only to find that sometime during or after the export process, GMAX has changed the positional data of a small portion of these 'edges' and in sim has clumped them together, changed the heading and moved them off to the left quite considerably.

I had the same problem when I exported the runways but was able to rectify the issue by resetting the scale, transform and pivots but no luck with the blending layer.

I've attempted to split the layer into 4 separate exports; the problem still persists with the same small area of the layer. I've attached a screenshot in an attempt to demonstrate the issue. I've drawn a red box around an area where the objects have been clumped together.

In the screenshot, you can see other parts of the blending layer which have been exported correctly, you can also see parts (the majority of the image) blending that have not. They've infact been exported with the same positional data.

The second screenshot shows the layer in GMAX and the red box shows the affected area. Normally, I can export the layer as an entire with no issue (thus alleviating earth curvature) but have also attempted to export the area individually, but the same result occurs.

What possible reason could there be for the export process to move a small part of the export layer, but not the rest?

Any ideas gratefully appreciated.
