i am very pleased to be allowed to join fs dev, i have been lurking for a while,
and thought i should at least post greetings.
this is a very valuable resource for aspiring devs, its ok for you genius,s with your large pulsating heads, and the ability to see in the infra red, ultra violet, and x ray spectrum. but for us mortals the site, is of crucial asistance.
my background is in engineering, i started using fsds 3.5.1 recently, and am starting to feel at home with it, to such an extent that ime now addicted to it.
it was originally to build scenery objects for missions..my first build, the lovall telescope for jodrell bank was succesfull, but not perfect..i am now working on an english electrick lightning fmk6, its going well, ime learning a lot, mainly from my mistakes. i build and overclock my own systems, my new build is running nicely at 4mhz but thats without any voltage tweaks, and only by upping the cpu multi, there should be a bit more headroom....this is a great site,,,i think i will stay,,regards jim
