• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Gulfstream product licensing

I didnt know they were General Dynamics. Man, I didnt know GD was still in business. Glad to hear they are. We lived near them in San Diego when I was a kid. We would drive by their big facility. A friends son worked there. I think they made the F-16's, didnt they? Dad took me to an EAA meeting one night, and we watched a movie on GD. Was good. I was in 2nd grade I think.

Man, thats wild... So its more like a state owned company, not a pure company like some of these others. They are probably a major 'industrial war complex' system or entity..

Oh well... Not like in the old days when you could write the CEO.

I remember hearing Steve Jobs talk about calling up HP when he was a kid, 15 years old, about getting a old counter to do computer projects with. He was talking with the owner, didnt know it, lol... Those were the days.

I always thought it interesting that GTA and other games could do near replicas of planes (and rename them) without apparently having to worry about legal issues. It seems like a good solution, but hyper-enthusiasts want to have the "real" plane right down to the correct number of rivets, so.........

Yep... I think its fully possible to do the plane. Just change the name, tweak the windows, change things in the panel (move this a little up, move that over here, etc). Done... Golfstreet Aerospace.

Falcon Dynamics Gulfhawk II.
Generaldynamik Golfstrom 450.
General Aerospace Businessjet 650.
Deneral Gynamics TotallynotaGulfstream III.
Ulfstream Gaerospace Cantsueme IV.
Mile High Aircraft Icouldn'taffordaGlobalExpress 550.

There's video I posted to..... other places, that showed a perfect example of a recognizable plane modified enough to avoid legal entanglement. It was interesting watching and going "Yup thats parts from a......"

Hope I have not blasphemed from linking to a game. :spam:

...CRJ-200 with an analog panel.

And I'm enjoying my mental ticker tape parade through the crowd filled streets of New York.

Well, actually I'm just sipping on my victory tea.

Well now, that really sucks, when I can even lose contests I never entered. :rotfl:
