I am trying to put light on my terminals and other building models in my project. Below are three snips that shows my progress in getting the day and night textures to show on the models How, when i export the file and build the project again. The terminals are still dark in the sim. It would be helpful if someone could offer assistance or guide me in the right direction on this. I believe i am doing all that the manual says that i should do export this properly. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Hi,

I think you need to check your material settings. Did you enable the day/night switch for example?

Arno, I am opining this model using the XML file for this model which is already a gltf. Every texture that the model calls for has the day\night switch set to true. Are there any other settings that i need to check? Do i need to overwrite existing textures when i apply. Should i export the files as a gltf? I am using the build all command in the sim DevModd to rebuild the package. Many thanks for your assistance.

After you have added the night texture to the model you will have to export it as glTF file again to make sure the new texture is added. Did you do that as well?

The actual texture file needs to be in the right folder with the model textures as well of course. Then when you rebuild in the dev mode it should recompile the model with your change.
