Hi guys. I'm exploring Sbuilder FS9 and I want to make a photoscenery with this program but when I export the scenery some lines appear. It seems like separate Tiles. I don't know why but when I get close to them just disappear :) it is so odd. I hope you can help me with your experience with this software.

Best Regards,

Alfonso

Hi,

Can you tell us a little more about how you made the photo scenery with SBuilder?

If you use resample you should not have lines. Or did you use the higher resolution option using SCASM polygons or maybe VTP polygons?

Hi arno. Im a really newbie using sbuilder for fs9. I took the Big image from SBuilder X, I just used sbuilder fs9 to locate the image in the specific coordinates, after that I apply a water mask and a land mask, and night map. after that I just Compile it using the same sbuilder. I don't either know how to use Resample tool for fs2004 and the SCASM to make my scenery. I hope you help me giving me more information about or tutorials. I'll really appreciate that.

PD: I compile in groups either water mask group, land mask group, and Coast lines group and the photo scenery group to not force the computer.

Best regarsd,

Alfonso

Hi Alfonso.

In CFS2, I found that the display engine does not use "0" in the VTP1 256x256 matrix. This was fixed by making a utility to convert all cell 0's to 1's in a disassembled file.

I would have to look at the BGL, and see if it is the same problem.

Hi Alfonso.

The type of BGL is VTP2, and the BGL is well-formed and displays perfectly in TMFViewer. I think Luis' advice is the best.

If you do not need to overdraw the image with VTP polys or lines, it might be better to just make an INF file and resample the image, which produces a photoreal BGL and textures.
