• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Every time I try to install the downloaded zip of MAPS2BGL I get a window that reads: The installation path contains blanks please change the path. I don't see blanks on the path C:\Program Files\Maps2Bgl(default path), and can not procede with installation. Can somebody tell what is wrong?
Thanks

what do you mean by you can't:confused:when you click on the downloaded zip file to install it,the original path that opens is C:ProgramFiles\Maps2bgl; click to install and it does,nt.Asks for a change on the path. Tried a different path, same thing. tried in a different hard drive: H:Programfiles\Maps2bgl ; :confused:same problem

You seem to see no difference between

C:ProgramFiles\Maps2bgl

and

C:Program Files\Maps2bgl

While that may not solve your problem, your question could be a little more accurate?

I have two installations of Maps2Bgl, on Vista 64 it is in G:\Maps2Bgl and on XP it is in H:\Downloads\FSX\Maps2BGL.

Neither have a space in the path ;)

In Vista, I would never install any program into C:\Program Files. Also, one should extract the installer from the zip file before running it.

Maps2bgl creating the terrain.

Wonder if somebody can tell me what did I do wrong. Think that I followed all the procedures:created and saved the KLM folder containing the scenery selected with the polygon from Google, then openend Maps2bgl to download the Tiles and create the Batch File.I finally obtained the folder with the scenery and texture sub folders, which I took to FSX,s Add On Scenery. Using the usual procedure I got the new scenery in FSX and when I went to take a look all I saw was black where the scenery from Google was supposed to be placed:D:mad:.The steps to get to the final seemed very easy to follow but evidently I missed something and need help:confused:
