• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I opened stock airport LCRA, modified it adding two parking spots and correcting the comm frequencies, saved it with ADEX, but during testing, the AI plane fails to get ATC clearance and disappears instead of taxing to the active runway. I 'd rather say ATC instruction is not given at all and the plane disappears when the departure time comes. The same happens if I save and compile airport with AFX.
No faults are found by the fault finder. Sometimes ATC voice is not heard even for instructions to the user plane. The same AI plane works properly in all other airports of the flightplans
Made many tests with any possible combination unsuccessfully and I am now run out of any further ideas, that's why I am seeking help for the issue.
Finally, I wonder if a felllow-simmer could do the same with me with that stock airport and report back.

I have opened the stock airport LCRA and change the tower frequencies to 118.100 and make two parking spots and save it.
I have my aircraft and two Tornado's and the depart normal.

Did you also connect the new parking spots to the runway using taxi paths and did you add starting points at both ends of the runway and a runway path between them? FS needs to have all paths properly in place for ATC to work correctly! The AI planes typically behave as you explained when some paths are missing!

This is not the case as the start points and taxipaths are properly in place. It must be something else. Note that I had never touched that airport before in my eighteen-years "career" as a flightsimmer.
