• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

How to Create Loft Edge using 3Ds max (Tutorial needed)

I guess this Option should be uncheck , please take a look these shots :

No - otherwise I wouldn't recommend checking it.
It's "REAL WORLD MAP SIZE" meaning it's trying to scale it to the size of the loft - it "normalises" the texture, you just have to scale down.

Never seen someone turn down, reject and refuse so much help. Unreal.

Hi
As you noticed I'm beginner in 3ds max So this is very clear that I just trying to the find best and easiest way or method to continue my project , As I remember you and other member @Nater I guess , you two had a different opinion about this check box , for me as a beginner this is Clear that I need to try for myself and find best way that make me happy , and at the end I'm Grateful person , every time some one reply to my posts and said Thank you. you can see and check for yourself , NOW the Question is why you believe i reject or refuse other people kindness or help? i recommend you and Nater to reach Agreement with each other about REAL WORLD MAP SIZE.
P.S
I'm still working on it (Edges) Still not happy with result , need more tweaking.

Regards.

All real world map size does is map your mesh IN PROPORTION - you just have to go to Unwrap UVW and "Uniform Scale" down until it fits your texture... it's REALLY simple. You can go without checking real world map size, but then you have to scale the UVs to match the proportion of the mesh and texture yourself.

Again, it's made clear in the 2014 tutorial, use it, trust it.. you won't get final results on step 1.
