• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello,I want FSX stock JFK jetway extension or other jetway extension if available. How to import the models ?I have seen other scenery including the extension.

So you don't want these to move to the plane? Library objects will not do that.

If you want them to move, left click the parking spot involved, right click, and choose Add Jetway.

I mean I want those jetway extension from the terminal building so can reach the aircraft and put the default jetway at the end of that jetway extension.

it's been several years since i did this but it is something along these lines you need to do if i remember correctly
you need to extract the jetway "mdls" (MDLfile) from the newyork.bgl found in the FSX/Scenery/NAME/scenery folder
you will also need the textures for them from the sister folder
I'm trying to remember to tool i used to do this, i think it was "BglAnalyzeX" something like that, a Google search will find it,
you also need to import the newyork.bgl into ADE so you can add the jetways to your project, i think it was around 140 objects.......
you then need to add these jfk jetway mdls to ADE in the Model list so they will be compiled into your airport bgl
i hope this is of help to you

You can use BglAnalyzeX or Bgl2Xml GUI to extract models from a Bgl file
