• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.

FSX how to install SBuilderX3.15

Hi, I'm at the end of my knowledge- I just wanted to install the latest version of SBuilder-3.15. But this is not possible at all! It starts with looking for a die.exe and a .dll. I think I inserted the right one manually. Now he wants to download various files - after 3 hours the situation still does not change. It is not finished. Open the program. Now he is looking for - just as logically - different files - Well, after about 10 searched and not found files, I started trying to do something. The prompt prompted that the Cursor.dll or something is missing. I can not imagine that it is normal that you get so many error messages. You should use the files on GitHub.com somehow and somewhere - but insert them where.
I am completely overwhelmed with the situation here. Is there an easy to understand manual for the installation? Or can it be that Win10 as well as Win7 generally causes problems? Alternatively, the question would be which other program could one use to get photorealistic backgrounds at the airport. Or to create your own runway design / apron design etc. To my knowledge, ADE does not do this either.

Wow, with some 88 views I am surprised no one jumped in to give a hand. Not sure if you found your answer in the meantime but looking at your screenshot, I have all my settings point to the same folder location. My SBuilder3.15 is installed at:

C:\Flightsim Design Toolbox\SBuilder 3.15\Tools (of course where you installed will be different).

So for Shp2Vec.exe Resample.exe and ImageTool.exe I have:
C:\Flightsim Design Toolbox\SBuilder 3.15\Tools

For BglComp.exe and BglComp.xsd I have:
C:\Flightsim Design Toolbox\SBuilder 3.15\Tools

and for XToMdl.exe Managed_CrashTree.dll and Managed_Lookup_Keyword.dll I also have:
C:\Flightsim Design Toolbox\SBuilder 3.15\Tools

To be honest, I can't remember if I actually moved some of those files into SBuilder or they were there to start with... it's been too long.

Other apps for airport design have been ADE (Airport Design Editor - Excellent program), and even QGIS. Hope that at least helps a little.
