I seemed to have really screwed up my airport.
I had added a scenery object of an aircraft and later found there were two of them placed almost on top of each other.
I removed them and did a BUILD and copied to the community folder and restarted MSFS only to find one still existed.
Yet I had removed BOTH!
I wondered had I accidentally modified another (nearby) airport and so removed that airport from the community folder and restarted and found the aircraft did not appear.
I then loaded that other airport into the editor and 'scewed' across to the airport with a problem thinking that I would find the aircraft but didn't.
I then checked the contents of the airport.xml (in the data folder for the airport with the problem) and found an entry for the aircraft I had removed.
How could this be (since I had removed it in the editor, saved scenery and did the Build)?
How do I fix it?
I don't think I could delete the .xml and expect it to be rebuilt.
Can I edit the airport.xml and remove the entry, save and expect no problems?
