• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

FS2004 how to remove an island?

Hi guys,

Can anyone guide me on how to remove a lil island? I've made a custom island with FS textures but I want to remove the previous.
here's the 2 islands together, I want to to remove the right one. But I don't know how.

Hi, 2 actions:
1/ make an exclude poly to remove the shoreline
2/ make a waterpoly covering the unwanted island
You can have two of them in the same file
 
well I think remove the island could be no complicated sometimes a with a hydropolygon ocean perennial is enough, and get rid of the shorelines too, but this thing are almost personal, sometimes could have problems taking out the landclass, or simply can't take it out. but how do you build the island ?
 
no, it's not so easy, maybe must be an order, may be with a polygon to get rid of the landclass too, but as I say before, I have had a lot of problem taking out these island. any way I worked with FsxKml.

I did what you said, but the other island doesn't want to go.

This island was created by someone else and it's a coast bgl file.

can it be that it's a landclass?

tejal, I hate this too, I can't figure out why it's not going.
