I was just thinking that the ability to export airports as a CAD filetype may be useful to further enhance airports created in ADE in 3DS Max, Blender, ModelConverterX and other 3D applications to or at least to have use the layout of the ADE airport as a background to work on.
Filetypes like DWG, DWF, ASE, OBJ or even MDL for example.
As one example this would make it much easier to add custom made ground markings etc. not supported by the FSX/P3D XML engine.
Currently there is no way to import ADE and/or XML files into a 3D environment because it's just a very basic description of vectors, particularly for taxiways or taxilines where only few center nodes along a curved line may exist. A feature to export a CAD layout of what is actually seen in ADE would help a lot.
