• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.

P3D v3 I'm really frustrated

Hello everyone, I have two problems we now have two days work, but found no solution.

1- Ramp Lights:
The lights for the yard I made using a custom effect. This effect has the type = 19, works well if we start from the custom Airport, but if you start from another airport to the custom Airport, the lights are not there. I have read some posts about fsdeveloper and recommend change from Type to Type = 19 = 25, and here is my result:

Then I read the SDK P3D and tried Type = 3, and the result is quite satisfactory. Only that arises another problem that is this:

I flickering apron ... Although the effect of increasing height to 12 meters, I always see flickering from 4000 ft up. this is a picture that shows the effect lights height:

2- CUSTOM TAXI LIGHTS:

I created a lamp, I applied the effect ... it works well, but in some viewing angles, the effect disappears ...

QUESTIONS:

- With regard to ramp lights, you can set the visibility range below 10000 ft as is done with 2D objects? I read something about the LOD, but it's all mixed up and you never know if you raise it, lower it and what is it

Dear gentlemen, I personally have noticed that you can also be Masters and draw our airports such as Michelangelo, but then if we incur in problems like these, we pass the desire. My airport is now ready, but I miss only complete the lights and just. Thank you very much. Now just because I'm nervous and I'm about to cry: D.

Try this. I have not been using FSX for over two years, only latest P3D, and learnt type 25 is to be avoided. This fx is for obstacle lights. Built on try and failure. Some values I stole from default P3D effects.
