• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Can someone help me out? Went to use my instant scenery and for some reason the shift key and mouse wheel will not rotate the object. I don't recall changing anything latly except I did pay for the registered version for the FSUIPC. I did map it to use the mouse wheel for trim but unchecked it. Still can't figure out the issue.

Thanks, I learned something new with the sliders but my mouse wheel still no dice. Something I changed ?
 
Think I found the trouble. I recently payed for the registered FSUIPC. It has a mapping using the mouse wheel for trim. I unchecked that but no dice so, I removed the FSUIPC module and it worked! However, I need it for a great many other things so, i am trying to go back to the unregistered on and see.
 
Something is still active. DUH:duck:
Check FSX Options / Settings / Control / Trim entry
Check FSUIPC.ini for trim entry.
 
I figuered it out i think. First I removed the FSUIPC. The mouse wheel worked rotating the object. Needing the FSUIPC reinstalled it without regeristing it. Mouse wheel work. I reinstalled it, registered it did not go in to it to map the mouse wheel for trim. Instant Scenery mouse wheel workedd. Went backinto FSUIPC and checked the box to use mouse wheel for trim, Instant Scenery mouse did not work. Back in to FSUIPC, uncheck trim. Back to Instant Scenery and mouse wheel worked, so that's it. I guess. That is what hapened to me.
