• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Anyone here care to help with AI Aircraft not showing up at my airports and air bases? I don't understand what my problem is. I have aircraft at some airbases and none at others. Case in point, the first photo is of Lemoore NAS and the other is MCAS Miramar.

As Tom suggested, using ADE or some other AFCAD type program open the MCAS bgl and check there are indeed parking spaces. The next thing to check is that the flightplan has the aircraft at the airfield you are watching at the time you are watching. The next is to check your aircraft are P3Dv6 compatible. Try all that and come back to us.;)

I did go back and look at Miramar, and it does have parking spaces for both F18's and V-22's. I have enclosed an image. The smallest parking space is 10m for the F18's and 15m for the V-22's.

Hi Robert, It's hard to see, but to me it doesn't look like there are taxi paths to the parking spots. Check and make sure that there are complete taxi paths between the runways and the parking spots. No path from the runway to the parking spot means no AI aircraft will park there.

Another question is, are you sure that you have AI aircraft scheduled to operate out of Miramar?

Robert, rather than a screenshot can you please attach the *.AD4 file and perhaps the flightplan BGL file?
